Essence of the Untamed which was featured in Equestrian Living’s Gold Issue, and has been collected nationally, through the equine form, is a celebration, an acceptance of our untamed and tamed sides and how beautiful the dance is between the two, begs us to ask the question how can we wonder into our own wilderness.

Jackson says, “Horses have inspired me since I saw wild ones roaming the islands of my childhood. Since then, I’ve known what it was like to have true freedom. Through struggle and resilience, these horses achieved it.”
Then what comes next?
“Shadows of the Untamed is a new and exciting evolution of the Untamed series, a window into a new collection that is forming," explains Jackson. "I am thrilled to debut it at Maine Art Hill. How fitting; this show in this place has captured my heart and held me for over a decade. Southern Maine hasn't let me free yet.”
